Professor Lucas Lepri shows a drill that starts with the de la riva. Lucas starts with the de la riva gripping the pants on one side and the sleeve on the other side. Lucas now transitions his leg into positions such as spider guard, lasso and back to the de la riva. While Lucas is doing this, he makes sure to always maintain the grip on the pants and sleeve. The drill consists of maintaining the grips and just moving the leg into the different positions.
