50/50 With Lasso Sweep (Advanced)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to sweep the opponent using the 50/50 guard and lasso. Lucas starts with the open guard and pulls the opponent in. He drops one foot on the mat and uses it to help him push the opponent forward. This allows Lucas to loop his other leg in between the opponent’s for the 50/50 position. Lucas attempts to sweep but the opponent steps back to defend. This is countered by now looping the lasso on the outside arm. Lucas now switches the other grip to the opponent’s pants and sweeps him back.
