Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to get the triangle when the opponent defends. Lucas goes into detail on how the opponent can use his knee to defend from a triangle attempt. Lucas goes for a triangle and the opponent slides his knee in to prevent it. Lucas now places one foot on the bicep and slightly shrimps out and then hooks the foot with his other leg. In one motion, Lucas pushes the opponent to the side using the foot on the bicep and lifting the opponent’s leg with his other foot. Once he kicks the leg out, he immediately shoots for the triangle.
