Deep Half Guard Sweep (Advanced)

Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates a sweep from deep half guard. He starts in a position where the opponent has blocked his attempt to take the back. To counter this, Lucas transitions to deep half guard and uses his left hand to control the opponent's ankle, while bringing his knee towards his chest. He then rocks back and forth, using his momentum to sweep the opponent forward. Lucas emphasizes the importance of keeping the opponent's foot elevated to maintain control and prevent them from blocking the sweep. He then shows a variation where he uses his right hand to grab the opponent's belt and complete the sweep.
