Description

Professor Edson Oliveira shows how to pass the lasso and spider guard. First, he grabs the collar. Then, he puts his knee on their heel and turns his hand to break the lasso. Next, he walks backward and uses his shoulder to clear their leg hook. He walks to the other side and controls their foot. He then puts his knees on their hips and follows them. When he feels pressure, he breaks the collar grip, grabs the cross collar, and drops his shoulder and chest on them. He can then work to control their arm. If they frame, he pushes their arm and flips his head inside to get control. He mentions that dealing with a spider guard grip might be needed first. If he can't break the lasso with his hand, he walks to the same side as the lasso.
