Head Lock Escape to Take Down to Submissions (Fundamentals)

Professor Edson Oliveira demonstrates how to escape a headlock and transition to submissions. The technique focuses on blocking the opponent's hand and stepping between their legs to free the head. Once the head is out and the opponent's arms are controlled, Edson forces a takedown by stepping behind their knee. From this top position, two main submissions are shown: a Kimura or a rear naked choke.
