Guard Pull to Lasso Over Head Sweep Attempt to De La Riva Sweep (Advanced)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows a De La Riva sweep, after pulling guard and attempting to do an overhead sweep with the lasso. Lucas pulls guard and immediately brings his leg over the arm to loop the lasso. He attempts to sweep the opponent with an overhead sweep, but the opponent defends by keeping their base. Lucas switches to the De La Riva and shifts his hips to the side. This allows him to sweep the opponent over. After the sweep, Lucas maintains control from the side. A variation is shown where Lucas can also post with his foot on the mat to achieve the sweep.
