Low Single to Collar Drag to Back Take (Advanced)

Description

Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates how to use a low single entry combined with a powerful collar drag to snap the opponent down and directly attack the back. To create the proper angle, Lucas hides the trailing leg using a staggered stance and pulls down sharply on the collar while dropping a knee to the mat, forcing the opponent to base their hand on the floor. To prevent the opponent from spinning or resetting, Lucas anchors the transition by gripping behind the opponent's knee with the palm facing up to freeze them in turtle position. The sequence concludes by inserting a knee into the hip space to act as a hook, pulling the opponent back toward the chest, and sliding the arm deep around the shoulder to establish total back control.
