Description

Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates a sequence to escape an opponent's back attack and counterattack with a waiter sweep to leg drag pass combination. When the opponent threatens with one hook and the seatbelt grip, Lucas quickly controls the opponent's choking hand, rolls, and establishes the deep half guard with a grip on the lapel. Lucas then bumps the opponent, lifting his leg and scooping his ankle. In this situation, the opponent falls to the side before Lucas can finish the waiter sweep, so Lucas keeps his legs crossed and switches to the leg drag pass. He secures both hands on the far lapel and comes up, and then grips around the head and on the bottom leg while passing to the other side. Lucas completes the counterattack sequence by letting go of the leg and blocking the opponent's hips before finally securing the side control position.
