Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape the Berimbolo and get to the mount or side control. The opponent goes for the De La Riva and reaches under both his leg and Lucas’. Lucas is not able to prevent the Berimbolo and the opponent starts to spin. As the opponent is spinning, Lucas keeps his base and stretches out his leg to stop the opponent. He immediately grips the opponent’s leg and pushes it forward. Lucas scoots forward placing the opponent’s head on his leg. He now grips the back of the collar and places his other hand on the inside hip to block. In this scenario, the opponent keeps Lucas’ leg trapped. Lucas steps over and then knee cut passes to side control and then to the mount position.
