Headlock Defense to Takedown to Armbar Submission (Fundamentals)

Professor Frederico Silva teaches how to defend from a headlock from standing. The opponent gets Frederico in the headlock and Frederico immediately grips the hip with one hand and the back of the opposite side knee with the other hand. He then pulls the opponent back and uses his leg to trip the opponent taking him down. Once on the mat, Frederico control the opponent’s side and transitions to the S Mount. From the S Mount, he then is able to get the armbar submission.
