Headlock Escape to Punch Defense to Shoulder Lock or Rear Naked Choke (Fundamentals)

Professor Frederico Silva shows how to escape from a headlock and prevent the opponent from punching. He then finishes with the rear naked choke submission. Frederico starts to escape from the headlock and the opponent tries to punch him. Frederico blocks the punch and uses his legs to hook the opponent’s leg and pulls him back. When the opponent reacts, Frederico takes him to the other side. If the opponent is still holding the head, then Frederico can lift his head and get a shoulder lock submission. If the opponent releases the head, then Frederico takes the back and finishes with the rear naked choke.
