Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches another entry to de la riva with lapel control and how to get a triangle or sweep the opponent. Lucas starts with the lapel control and de la riva. He then circles his foot out and brings it over the lapel for a lasso position. Lucas now drops his de la riva hook so he can sit up, this allows him to feed the lapel underneath his leg to his other hand. Lucas now sits back to the de la riva position once again and grips the same lapel side collar. He hip escapes a little bit and pushes his foot forward to create space so he can once again switch the lapel grip to the other hand. Lucas attempts to pendulum his legs and attempt to sweep or take the back, but the opponent defends by maintaining the grip on the collar and bases to the side. Lucas resorts to rolling over his shoulder to get inverted and pulls the opponent. From this position, Lucas can push the opponent away and then does a technical stand up to sweep the opponent over. Or if the opponent steps back, then Lucas can also immediately shoot for the triangle, or sweep the opponent to the side control position.
