Description

Professor Lucas Lepri continues his lesson on escaping the omoplata, showing a variation for when the opponent has a tight lock. He starts in a position where the opponent has secured a strong omoplata. To escape, Lucas bases his hand on the floor and opens his knee. He then places his knee on the opponent's chest, using it to help him transition. This allows him to create space to slide his other knee through, to the other side. Lucas emphasizes the importance of maintaining a good base and controlling the opponent's leg to prevent them from re-attacking.
