Special guest Alec Baulding teaches a technique at Lucas Lepri Jiu Jitsu Academy. In this scenario, Alec shows how to defend and recompose from the toreando pass attempt. The opponent has both pants grips Alec makes sure to keep his knees bent and away from the opponent. Having his knees up makes it more difficult for the opponent to pass. The opponent then tries to move to the side and Alec immediately frames with his hand on the opponent. He circles his outside leg over the arm and re-centers himself. From here, he can work on his grips or go to the De La Riva or spider guard.
