Side Control Escape to Butterfly Sweep to Side Control (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from side control. In this technique, Lucas goes into detail on concepts of the side control. He shows how to use a combination of framing and escaping his hips out, to escape. Once out from the side control, Lucas uses a butterfly sweep to reverse the opponent and now Lucas gets the side control position.
