Professor Andre Gois teaches how to get the cross collar choke by trapping both the opponent’s arms after attempting a kimura first. Andre starts in the side control and then moves to the north south to isolate the arm. He gets the kimura lock and the opponent defends by locking their hands together. Andre now moves back to the side control where he releases the kimura lock and pins the opponent’s arms down using his knee and hand. With the arms trapped, he moves to the mount position, over the arm. With the opponent not being able to defend the neck, Andre goes for the cross collar choke.
