Straight Ankle Lock Escape Variation (Intermediate)

Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the straight ankle lock. In this variation, the opponent is trying to get the straight ankle lock and has both of his feet on Lucas’ hips. Lucas controls the top leg and pushes it through, like a leg drag. Once that top leg is off the hip, Lucas bends his other leg so he can come up. As he comes up, he places his hand under the opponent's armpit and blocks the leg. Lucas now drops his knee and then works on passing.
