Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates a technique he taught at one of his seminars in the Netherlands. Lucas starts to pass the opponent's guard with the Toreada pass. As he is passing, the opponent blocks Lucas’ shoulder. Lucas immediately changes his base and drops his torso onto the opponent. He maintains the base and controls the arms even if the opponent is reacting by pushing away. From this position Lucas can use his legs to isolate the arm, or he can under hook it also. He then transitions to the side control position.
