Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to take the opponent’s back from the closed guard. Lucas has the opponent in his closed guard. He breaks down the posture by gripping the collars and pulling the opponent down making them post on the mat. He then connects his hands together behind the back for the double under. Lucas now grips the back of the opponent with one hand. The opponent tries to posture up and Lucas immediately comes up onto his elbow. He opens his guard and bumps the opponent's arm off with his shoulder and then immediately closes the guard from the side. He now makes his way to the back. He controls the near side arm to prevent the opponent from turning back and reaches over the back to grab the collar. From here, Lucas now pulls the opponent back and takes the back control.
