Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to get the Ezekiel choke from the back, when the opponent attempts to escape. Lucas starts with the back control, both hooks in and with the seat belt grip. He takes the opponent to the side where the arm is over the shoulder. The opponent is able to unhook one of Lucas’ legs and starts to escape from the back control. Lucas allows the opponent to start to turn so he can come up. As he comes up, the opponent locks Lucas in a half guard. Lucas slides his knee to the mat and posts out with his other leg. He keeps his head on the opposite side of the opponent’s head. Lucas maintains his grips and slides his arms to the back side of the opponent. He now feeds the inside of his lapel to his other hand and then brings his arm over the head to lock in the Ezekiel. From here, he brings his knee up near the head and then pulls the opponent to the other side. He finishes the choke by bringing his leg over the shoulder and pulls on the opponent to finish the choke.
