Professor André Gois teaches how to get the baseball choke starting from the side control position. André starts in the side control position. The arm that is going underneath the neck is slid down so he can grip the back of the collar. He places his other hand on the waist, this allows him to come up and place his knee on the opponent's belly. André maintains control by keeping the grips, the knee on the opponent, and posting out with his other foot. From here he then moves the hand that was controlling the hips to grip the collar right next to his initial collar grip. André now slides the knee that was on the opponent down, placing it over the opponent's arm to isolate it. He then moves all the way around to a north south position to finish the baseball choke from here.
