Side Head Lock Escape Variation to Takedown to Armbar (Intermediate)

Professor Edson Oliveira show a variation of a side head lock escape, when the opponent attempts to take him down. In this scenario, the opponent tries to pull Edson to the ground. Edson counters this by cupping the back of the opponent's near side knee and lowers his base. He then places his foot in between the opponent's leg as he pull the opponent back. Once the takes the opponent down, he scissors his legs and comes up to the side. The opponent is still controlling the head. Edson now teaches how to break the grip and finish with the armbar submission.
