Professor Lucas Lepri show a series of transitions starting with an ankle pick attempt and the opponent defends, to an Ouchi Gari attempt, to a single leg and then finally taking the opponent’s back. As Lucas goes for an ankle pick, the opponent steps back preventing him from completing the technique. Lucas immediately goes for the Ouchi Gari and the opponent also steps back and defends. At this point Lucas then goes for the single leg and tries to take the opponent down. The opponent defends by placing his hands on the mat. Lucas immediately releases the leg and steps to the other side while still holding the collar grip. He then grips the arm with his other hand and puts the first hook in of the same side he is holding the arm. He then releases the grip on the arm and reaches for the opposite collar. Lucas then pushes the opponent down and brings his other hook in as the opponent is on the mat and establishes the back take.
