Back Control to Mount Attempt to Armbar Submission (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates how to transition to the armbar submission after the opponent escapes from Lucas’ back control. Lucas has the opponent’s back and the opponent starts to escape. As the opponent is escaping, Lucas tries to transition to the mount position but the opponent reacts by posting with his elbow on the mat an tries to go to Lucas’ closed guard. Lucas takes advantage of this and as the opponent is reacting, he brings his leg over and traps the opponent with the armbar submission.
