Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the back control when the opponent establishes both hooks and has the seat belt grip. Lucas first starts to defend by keeping his knees wide open and controls the opponent’s arm. He now starts to escape by bridging back and turns in the opposite direction the opponent has the arm over the shoulder. Lucas makes sure to place his head and shoulder on the mat. The top hand is now used to grip the leg. Lucas uses the grip on the leg to push the hook away as he bridges and turns into the opponent to escape. From here, Lucas stays in the side control position.
