Description

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to prevent the opponent from going to the back or sweep when in the closed guard. Lucas is in the opponent’s closed guard. The opponent grips Lucas’ arm and tries to bring it across so he can start reaching for the back. Lucas immediately breaks the grip by controlling the wrist and posting with his far side leg. The other leg is then switched and brought up to use the knee to block the opponent’s hip. From here, Lucas can then escape the arm and uses his elbow to make the opponent go back to the closed guard.
