Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to transition to the back take or body triangle then they both tie up while standing. Lucas and the opponent are both standing and move into a tie up position, where they both reach for the back of the head. In this variation Lucas is not able to slide his arm under the opponent's. He instead, grips the bicep from the top. Lucas now steps in and lifts the bicep up to get to the standing back control. He pushes forward and makes the opponent base with both hands on the mat. The opponent maintains a good base, so Lucas takes advantage and jumps on the back. From here, Lucas is able to push the opponent down and transitions to the back control or the body triangle.
