Breaking the Worm Guard Grips (Intermediate)

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to break the worm guard grips. The opponent has the de la riva and is also controlling the lapel with the lasso. Lucas immediately controls the lasso side sleeve. In this scenario, Lucas is not able to defend and the opponent sits up so he can feed the lapel to his other hand. Lucas is still maintaining the grip on the first sleeve and he uses this grip to keep the opponent from re-establishing another grip. Lucas now uses his other hand to grip the warm guard sleeve and pulls it up to break it. From here, Lucas can step back or work on passing.
