Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to sweep the opponent to the mount position using the butterfly guard. Lucas starts with the butterfly guard and grips the opponent’s cross arm and pulls it in. Lucas now under hooks to reach for the belt. The opponent tries to defend by using his other hand to push on Lucas, in an attempt to pull his arm away. Lucas takes advantage of this and releases the initial grip on the arm so he can grip the other arm. Lucas now rolls on his shoulder as he lifts the opponent with his legs to sweep and land on the mount position.
