Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the back control when the opponent is controlling the collar and lapel in an attempt to choke. The opponent is controlling Lucas’ back and has one hand on the collar and the other on the lapel. Lucas starts to defend from the choke by using one hand to control the elbow and the other controls around the hand. He pulls the opponent's arm down so he can slide his chin in. Lucas then bridges and starts turning the other way in an attempt to make the opponent post out with his leg. Lucas takes advantage of the reaction and comes back, stepping over the opponent's leg. From here, Lucas now pushes away and slides out to escape from the back control to the half guard.
