Knee Cut Pass Against an Opponent’s Underhook (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to pass with a knee cut when the opponent applies an underhook to defend. As the opponent begins to apply the underhook, Lucas keeps his head low and blocks the opponent’s neck with one hand while applying his own underhook with the other hand. He can then pass with a deep grip around the opponent’s head, or, if the opponent posts on an elbow, he can trap the posting arm and drive his opponent’s back onto the mat to finish the pass.
