Butterfly Guard Sweep with Same Side Collar and Sleeve Control (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to sweep the opponent using the butterfly guard. Lucas has the butterfly guard on the opponent and controls the sleeve and same side collar. He pushes the opponent forward and slightly turns to the side. He removes one butterfly hook and places that leg on the mat. The other leg with the hook is now used to raise the opponent and sweep, as Lucas takes the opponent to the side. From here, Lucas can now work on passing.
