Closed Guard Sweep to Mount Escape (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri show how to sweep the opponent from the closed guard using the hip bump sweep. Lucas has the opponent in his closed guard and starts reaching for the arm like he’s going for a Kimura. Instead, Lucas sweeps the opponent with the hip bump sweep and gets the mount. Lucas then shows how to escape from the mount by trapping the arm and same side foot. He uses his hips and turns his body in the same direction he is controlling the arm and leg to reverse the opponent going back to the closed guard.
