Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to get the armbar submission after attempting to sweep the opponent with a scissor sweep variation. Lucas starts with the de la riva and controls the lapel so he can feed it to his other hand under the opponent’s leg. He now attempts to reach for the near side leg but the opponent defends by stepping back. Lucas istead, reaches for the other leg and pendulums so he can switch the lapel control to his other hand. In this variation, Lucas attempts to sweep the opponent, but the opponent defends by gripping the far side pants. Lucas uses this opportunity to bring his knee to the chest. He brings his arm over the opponent’s and locks it in with his elbow. From here, Lucas then brings his leg over the arm and head to get the armbar submission.
