Description

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to sweep the opponent with a scissor sweep variation in order to get to the mount position or armbar. Lucas starts with the de la riva and controls the lapel so he can feed it to his other hand under the opponent’s leg. Lucas attempts to reach for the near side leg but the opponent defends by stepping back. He now istead, reaches for the other leg and pendulums so he can switch the lapel control to his other hand. Lucas now pendulums once again and elevates his hips to slide his leg over the opponent’s knee. With the lapel can sleeve control, Lucas now scissors his legs to sweep the opponent. Depending on the opponent’s reaction, Lucas can take the mount position or get the armbar.
