Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to defend and countattack when an opponent attacks his neck from behind. In this situation, the opponent wraps his arm around Lucas’ neck with one foot in between Lucas’ legs and pulls back to unbalance Lucas. Lucas grips the opponent’s arm using both hands and steps the leg back to trap the opponent’s forward leg as he pivots on that leg, turning so he is now facing the opposite direction as his opponent. Now, Lucas turns and leans forward, tripping his opponent over his leg. When the opponent falls, Lucas transitions to knee on belly.
