Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to defend from a double leg takedown and shows how to get to the back control. The opponent goes for a double leg and Lucas immediately counters by sprawling over the opponent. One arm goes in front of the shoulder and the other over the torso to control the waist. As soon as the opponent’s hands release Lucas’ knees, Lucas moves to the side in the opposite direction the opponent’s head is facing. He immediately connects his hands together using the seat belt grip. One hand over the shoulder and the other under the arm. Lucas now drops his shoulder making the opponent fall to the side where he immediately establishes the back control by establishing his hooks while maintaining the seat belt grip.
