Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates a drill to practice maintaining guard during an opponent's double under pass attempts. Lucas first controls both sleeves and makes his hips heavy to prevent the opponent from advancing with his grips. Each time that the opponent attempts to establish a high grip on Lucas' collar, Lucas pivots with his toes and shoulder on the mat, keeping his back straight and pushing away the sleeve of the advancing grip. He then brings his hips back to the mat and repeats the technique to the other side.
