Professor Andre Gois teaches a drill on how to prevent the opponent from passing. The opponent starts by gripping Andre’s leg with the opposite hand and then uses his other hand to grip the same side collar. The opponent starts to push to the side in an attempt to pass. Andre starts to defend by blocking the shoulder and same side arm. The outside leg is brought in and placed on the hip. Andre now brakes the grip and gets inverted so he can spin around and recompose the guard.
