Guard Pull to Armbar Attempt to Sweep (Fundamentals)

Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to sweep the opponent, after trying to get him in an armbar from a guard pull. Lucas goes and pulls guard on the opponent, he steps to the side and places his other foot on the opponent’s hip. He then drops to the floor and brings his leg over the opponent’s head to try and get the armbar. The opponent defends by gripping his hand together. Lucas reaches for the ankle and the foot that was over the opponent’s head is brought down and placed on the hip. He removes his other foot from the hip and uses it to sweep the opposite side leg. Lucas then pushes with his foot on the hip and sweeps with the other leg, taking the opponent down.
