Guillotine Escape from Side Control to North South Choke (Intermediate)

Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to escape from the guillotine when in side control, after taking the opponent down. Lucas goes for the single leg and the opponent pushes his head to the side to go for a guillotine. Lucas is still able to take the opponent down by removing the leg from the middle of his own and putting it out to the side. He steps in and grabs the back of the other knee to take the opponent down. Lucas lands in the side control position with the guillotine still around his neck. He starts to escape by going to the north south position. He pushes forward to make the opponent raise his head and then he loops his arm around the opponent's neck. From here Lucas is able to get the north south choke.
