Description

Professor Andre Gois teaches how to get the armbar or kimura from the side control. While in the side control position, the opponent tries to escape by bridging and under hooking Andre. Andre takes advantage of this and posts his hand on the mat so he can move his hips back a little. This allows him to come back and step his leg over the opponent’s arm. From this position, Andre can get the kimura submission from the top. He also has the option to spin around and catch the armbar.
