Professor Lucas Lepri demonstrates how to escape from the knee on belly and transition to take the opponent’s back. The opponent has the knee on belly position on Lucas and Lucas immediately places one hand on the ankle and the other on the knee. He bridges up and as he comes down, he pushes the knee off and places the opponent’s leg in between his own. The hand that was used to push on the knee is now used to under hook the same side arm and the other elbow is placed on the mat. Lucas then brings the opponent over himself and comes out the side and places his chest on the back. From here, Lucas goes for the seat belt grip and pulls the opponent back securing the back take with both hooks in.
