Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to finish a head and arm choke from the mount. Lucas starts with the mount control and places one arm underneath the opponent's head. He makes sure to keep his head on the opposite side of the arm that is controlling the head. He then starts to isolate the arm to slowly bring it up so the opponent won’t be able to frame. Lucas then pushes the arm across and uses his head to maintain pressure. Lucas is now able to connect his hand to his bicep by pushing with his free hand on the mat first, making the opponent pivot to the side. This allows Lucas to create enough space to connect his hand to his bicep. From here, Lucas squeezes everything together, and gets the head and arm submission choke.
