Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to get a triangle choke of armbar after attempting to get a head and arm choke from the mount. Lucas starts with the mount control and places one arm underneath the opponent's head. He makes sure to keep his head on the opposite side of the arm that is controlling the head. He then starts to isolate the arm to slowly bring it up so the opponent won’t be able to frame. Lucas then pushes the arm across and uses his head to maintain pressure. In this scenario, the opponent bridges in an attempt to escape. Lucas scoops up and uses his knee to block the elbow and pushes down on the other arm with his hand. This leaves Lucas in a position where he can bring his leg over to lock in a triangle. Lucas falls back and finishes. Lucas also has the option to finish with an armbar.
