Professor Lucas Lepri shows how to escape from the mount position. The situation starts with the opponent on top of Lucas in the mount position. Lucas grips the opponent’s opposite sleeve with one hand and the same side shoulder with the other. This prevents the opponent from using that hand to post on the mat. He uses his foot to trap the ankle on same side he is holding the shoulder. Lucas now bridges up and starts turning diagonally making the opponent fall to the side. Lucas follows him and they end up with Lucas in the opponent’s closed guard.
