Professor Lucas Lepri teaches how to sweep the opponent using the reverse de la riva when they try to go for the knee cut pass. The opponent starts to go for the knee cut pass and Lucas immediately defends by going to the reverse de la riva. He then grips the ankle and blocks the opponent with his other hand. The grip on the ankle is now switched to the bottom of the foot. Lucas uses the grip on the foot to elevate the opponent so he can spin around. The opponent reacts by stepping back. Lucas now switches his hooks on the leg to push the opponent away. From here, Lucas now comes up.
