Scissor Sweep to Mount (Fundamentals)

Professor Frederico Silva teaches how to do the scissor sweep and get to the mount position. Frederico has the opponent in his closed guard. He controls the cross collar with one hand and the same side sleeve with the other. Frederico then hip escapes and places his knee on the opponent’s chest. The other leg is placed next to the opponent’s leg. Frederico now pulls the opponent up onto his knee as he uses his other leg to sweep the opponent by scissoring his legs. From here, Frederico then transitions to the mount position.
