Description

Professor Lucas Lepri explains how to complete a back take when a turtled opponent attempts to establish guard. Beginning with the opponent in turtle position and establishing back control from the side, Lucas secures the seatbelt grip. In this situation, the opponent attempts to establish guard by lifting his knee and turning into Lucas. As soon as the opponents lifts his knee, Lucas steps over the opponent to the other side, hooking his other leg into the lifted knee as he rolls over the opponent, maintaining a tight seatbelt grip so the opponent rolls with him. Lucas continue the roll until the side with the first hook is on the ground, at which point he inserts the other hook to complete the back take.
